Topaz is noted for it’s depth of experience, with the founding principals still active in the business well into the company’s third decade, and all members of the management and consulting team have at least two decades of ERP experience.
The implementation team includes functional consultants that qualified accountants with finance work experience, and technical consultants with appropriate Microsoft and other technical qualifications.

The sales process begins with understanding the customer needs and, crucially, iensuring the customer’s expectations are aligned with what Topaz expects to deliver.
The sales process merges with the implementation process through a single team approach to sales, implementation and support. The functional consultants who will deliver the project are involved from the beginning of the sales engagement so that commitments given to the customer are given by the people who are expected to deliver the result.
These same consultants remain involved as the primary support consultants post implementation and the Business Development Manager responsible for managing the sales process takes the account manager role post sale.
This approach drives consistency, knowledge retention and accountability.
Project management uses a combination of Microsoft’s Sure Step and Prince 2 project methodology to determine with certainty what is needed to meet the requirements, produce appropriate timelines and budgets, ensure the solution is quality assured and delivered on time.

It is our experience that enables us to ensure that the process followed for each implementation is appropriate for the circumstance. At times, when dealing with customers with strong skill sets and project teams, our consultants can work within the clients team. In other circumstances, the client looks to us to provide many of the skills and over all project management.
